Uniforms

The adoption of school uniform policies has been observed to promote school safety, improve discipline, and enhance the learning environment. All students at Lighthouse Private Christian Academy at the Zoo are required to wear uniforms under the following guidelines.

Shirts are now available through the school.

We have White, Light Blue and Navy short sleeve shirts with the monogrammed logo complete for $15.95 each.

Each child will be required to have at least One Navy Shirt for Official School Functions. (Required by the end of the first quarter)

Mandatory Guidelines

GIRLS

• Jumper, Skort or Shorts in khaki.
• White, Light Blue or Navy Blue shirts (no t shirts, or shirts with pockets)

(Pockets interfere with the monogrammed logo)

• Short or long sleeved blouse with peter pan collar (in white)
  • Knit shirt in white
• White or khaki tights or white socks
• Shoes
  • Keds saddle oxford style leather tennis shoe, navy and white, or:
  • Khaki (style: “School Days” available from jcpenney.com, zappos.com)
  • White, navy or khaki tennis shoes
  • Dark-colored mary jane or oxford style shoes (soft soled, low heel)
• Optional
  • Sweaters, sweater vests, and outerwear (khaki or white) from French Toast that would coordinate with the khaki  jumper and skort.
  • Coordinating hair accessories from French Toast or you can find them elsewhere.

BOYS

• Double knee, flat-front pants or shorts in khaki
• Shirts (can purchase from Lighthouse at the Zoo Campus with logo complete $15.95 ea. or buy elsewhere and have Sal’s embroidery the logo for $6.55 ea.)
  • Pique polo shirt, short- or long-sleeved,  white, light blue or navy
  • Oxford button down, short- or long-sleeved, white, light blue or navy
• Socks:  white, khaki, navy or other coordinating dark color
• Shoes
  • Black or brown tennis shoes
  • Oxford-style, soft-soled shoes in dark color (navy, black, brown)
• Braided or plain belt in khaki
• Optional:  sweaters, sweater vests, and outerwear (khaki or white) from French Toast or elsewhere

All uniforms shirts with logo may be purchased from Light House PCA at the Zoo Campus or from French Toast at www.frenchtoast.com/ or anywhere uniforms are sold.

All shirts are required to be monogrammed with our school logo. Please bring your shirts/jumpers along with $6.55 per monogram to the school . Make your check payable to Light House PCA. Shirts can be left in a bag with your child’s name inside along with your check..  We will call you when the items are ready for pick up.
