If you feel as if God is leading you to start a school at your church or in your community, then you have arrived at the right website! Lighthouse was established in 2004 after Hurricane Ivan hit the coast of Gulf Breeze, Florida. Starting out with just one small campus with 18 students, the Lord began building different campuses in Florida. As a nationally accredited K-12th grade school, we now have 5 locations and are scheduled to open more in 2021. Your church can serve as the next Lighthouse satellite campus! Focused on a Christ-centered education, positive discipline, and highly educated instructors, we have a formula that will work for any Church facility. The Lighthouse vision includes expansion throughout all of Florida. Lighthouse is a non-denominational, nationally accredited, VPK-12th grade academy that is ready to add more campuses within our beautiful state.
Regardless of theological differences, we are all under the umbrella of Christianity and we are here on earth to expand the Kingdom. We can do that together through a customized education approach! Lighthouse is a turn-key VPK-12th grade program that has traditional, on-line, and hybrid learning programs. Lighthouse schools help congregations increase membership, bring more children to the Lord through our Bible-integrated curriculum, and is known for being a Christian school that operates “out of the box”. We believe in grace and positive discipline only. Our motto is, “Where kids love to come to school”.
Several complex legal issues come to the forefront when you are wanting to start a school. Christian education is necessary but has been subject to many legal guidelines. Starting a new entity can be costly and complicated. Lighthouse is a well-established, not-for-profit school with several campuses in Florida. We have created a formula that has flourished for almost 20 years. We want to share the blessing of Lighthouse with children by expanding our schools into communities throughout Florida.
